I took those actions as I know time is getting close and I wanted to be sure we submitted them.

Darn, I wish I would have seen this earlier. I don't want you to poison Stan. If he dies it kills my Power Cop claim on his power.
This may have just sealed my fate.

He won't die from the poisoning. It lowers the number of votes needed to lynch him.

Okay, then I guess I don't understand my PGO power.

Based on my power I thought all poison kills. I guess I am headed back to the FAQ section.

I think the way that it works is that the first person to target you will die. A regular PGO will kill everyone who targets them, where you only kill the first person to target you. It will likely go off tonight as I'd imagine someone will target you. After it's went off once, it's done and you don't have that power anymore.

Yeah, I got that from my powers. I guess my mistake was thinking all poison works that way.
Well, with any luck we get three kills tonight.

Poison can work in a variety of ways. Sometimes it just delays the kill for one day, sometimes it lowers vote counts.
I think you are always a PGO, but are limited to one kill per night. So if ten people target you tonight, only one will die and if one person targets you tomorrow, then they will die.

I think the issue here is the word "Poison". I know that my games are convoluted at times, and some mechanics (such as the bargains) are made up entirely, so you may not find your answer in the FAQ.
But the "Poison" part is just flavour, every one of your actions could say "Fireball" for example, but they all do different things. Sometimes it depends on the hypothetical poison, it's all just roleplaying aspects.
What's important, is that you consider the mechanics behind it.
